I decided to do a year end wrap up of some of my favorite posts and projects from last year.

In February I released my pattern for The Delilah Duster. The duster is a simple shape, made of three crocheted rectangles seamed together, but with the added embellishment of handcrocheted flowers cascading down. You can find the pattern here.

Here is a fave outfit from the year – what I wore for Easter. These palazzo pants were from Target and my mother-in-law graciously had them hemmed for me, since the material is a bit slippery and I wasn’t sure of my own skills hemming them it at the time. You can probably tell I’m a fan of high-waisted bottoms, and these are no exception. I liked pairing them with a plain t-shirt and my handcroched bow here.

In April I released the new and much improved pattern for The Lillian Pleated Skirt. I changed up the seaming and added more sizes. You can find the pattern here.

I was so pleased with how this refashion project turned out. I’d bought this dress from a vintage shop on Etsy years ago and finally adjusted – shortened the skirt, cropped the sleeves, and took out some fabric at the waistline. I think it turned out well!

In October I shared a little post with tips for crocheting with linen yarn, which likes to tangle and be a bit finicky. It softens beautifully with every wash (and yes, it can be machine washed and dried!) so the benifits far outway the struggles, in my opinion.

Also in October, I shared this post on ways to style knit/crochet tank tops. I have a lot of fun with posts like these, and they’re also one of my favorite post types to see from other people.

In November I realeased the pattern for The Lyerly Embroidered Pullover. Guys, this one. I really love this pattern, the fit, the shape, the colorblocking and embroidery, the pleated sleeve detail, and my pattern testers made the whole testing process so lovely. You can find the pattern here.

In November I also shared another “Ways To Wear” post, this time on styling shorts with tights.

In November I also got the blessing of a sort-of surprise, impromptu vacation with my boys. We ate yummy food, got to see a bit of snow, and had some beautiful family time.

And, in December, I made this rotoscope animation using Procreate.
