I wound up with two outfit options featuring these floral wide leg pants for Easter this year. Which is your favorite?

The yellow tee in the second outfit is the same cropped one from the spring Lillian outfit featured last week. Just tucked into these high-waisted pants. Since we only went to my mother-in-law’s for Easter this year (in our covid “bubble”) for a very small gathering of just us and them, I wanted to take the rare opportunity to dress up in more than sweats and a t-shirt but felt like keeping my footwear casual and comfy. So I added tennis shoes, and they really dress down these floral pants.

So what’s the deal with two outfits? Well, the “yellow” outfit was actually my first idea, but in looking for potential extra light layers for added coverage (should the weather be a bit chilly – it wasn’t) I pulled out this favorite flowy blue top – see a couple more outfits featuring it here and here – to try as a cardigan of sorts over the yellow tee and had the idea to try it tucked in. 

I switched out the yellow striped flats for some blue and white striped tennis shoes for an outfit with similar casual vibes, just a bit more flowy overall.

Sooo, I actually think the “blue” outfit is my favorite, but I wound up wearing the “yellow” one because the weather actually warmed up a good bit that day, and I didn’t want to worry about feeling too warm or stuffy in longer sleeves.

PS. I’ve actually worn these floral, flowy pants for Easter before! They really lend themselves to the springy, bright holiday.
