This skirt has been done and ready for styling pics for a few weeks, save weaving in the yarn ends. I finished those up yesterday and hope to get the pics and put the pattern PDF together this coming week. My son woke up last night with a fever, though, so plans may be slightly up in the air.

This skirt is a 2.0 version of one of my first patterns, the Lillian Pleated Skirt, I’ve changed it up by adding side seams – making the pocket holes easier to create – and changing how the waistband is attached, as well as offering it in eight sizes, x-small through 4X.

We’ve had a strange week around here, in the sense that there are happy things and very sad things happening simultaneously. Navigating those opposing emotions is interesting. But such is life, right?

On the happy front, I’ve been developing some handdrawn surface pattern designs that I’m really excited about. I have some plans for using them this year as I work on expanding the illustration side of my business.
