I’ve recently drawn a set of illustrations of ways the Beverly Boxy Top (pattern available here) can be styled. Beverly was inspired by oversized, cozy sweatshirts, so it’s great for lounging, but can also be dressed up. Making it in linen like the original gives it a beautiful drape.

1. Skinny Jeans – wearing the oversized, relaxed fit Beverly top over skinny jeans balances out the proportions. Tennis shoes will dress it down slightly, but a pair of flats or wedges will dress it up. Beverly works well as a simple canvas for longer necklaces and big pendants.

2. Loungewear – Beverly was designed to be comfy. Throw it over your pjs for some extra warmth while lounging around the house.

3. Pencil Skirt – A form fitting pencil skirt works well with the Beverly top, again – like the skinny jeans – balancing out the proportions. Beverly can work well as office-appropriate attire styled this way.

4. Maxi Skirt – Beverly’s oversized fit lends itself to a bohemian vibe. Wearing it over a flowy maxi skirt with a long necklace plays this up.
