My editorial illustrations are warm and just a bit whimsical. I often feature fiber arts like crochet, knitting, and embroidery. Fiber arts and handmaking are an important part of my life personally, and I love to represent them in my illustration work. I also feature women of all shapes and sizes and different ethnicities, because representation – in both the world of artisan crafts and the world of editorial illustration – is important.
