Last week I released The Calla Button Up Boxy Top Pattern, which you can find in my Ravelry shop here. Since the release I’ve shared a few illustrations of ways to wear and style the Calla top over on my Instagram, and wanted to share a round up here.

Obviously there are many more ways Calla could be styled, but it was fun to illustrate and play around with a few ideas.

Ways To Wear The Calla Button Up Boxy Top Pattern:

1. Keep It Casual:

Style Calla with cuffed jean shorts and tennis shoes, wearing the v-neck at the front, for an easy laidback look.

2. Dress It Up:

Style with a pencil skirt and some clogs for a slightly more dressy, but still comfy look.

3. Play Up The 70s Vibes:

Style with wide flare jeans, a layered long sleeve top, and boots. This layered look is a great way to take Calla into the fall.

Typically, I wouldn’t personally style it this way, just because I tend to balance a more flared or flowy top with a slimmer bottom or vice versa, and fun fact, I can’t stand to wear turtlenecks or even some tighter crew necks – I feel like I’m being choked and I’ll constantly pull at the neckline. But I see lots of people on here rocking similar to this and I think it compliments Calla’s shape well, so I thought I’d throw it in.

Calla is a great top for spring and summer but can easily take you into the fall. Again, you can find the pattern in my Ravelry shop here.
