Haha, I had absolutely no idea what to title this post. I went with what the outfit reminds me of. The top is pretty bohemian, with it’s woven fabric and fringe, but I think the silhouette of the pants and the Mary Jane flats give it a more classic spin, ala’ Hepburn’s capris and flats look, maybe?

I wanted to try making some collar necklaces a few weeks ago, and though I love the look of crocheted ones, most of them wound up being made out of leather and chain. Jewelry making is something I play around with every now and then, and though this is a very basic and easy to make necklace, I really like it. I plan on making more and incorporating crochet into the design as well.

And yes, those are jeggings. Goodness, when they first came out a few years ago, I was vehemently against them, they were blaringly obvious, had fake pockets, and all the ones I saw seemed cheaply constructed. But jeggings have come a long way. If you were against them like me, consider giving them another chance, as long as you try some good quality ones. These are Faded Glory from Wal-Mart, and the fabric is super comfy but has a texture similar to denim. And seriously, I find these more comfortable than regular leggings. Though the pockets on front are fake, the back pockets are real. The only ones I’ve seen better are from American Eagle, and they have all real pockets and are so well done you’d almost have no idea they were jeggings unless someone told you.

All in all, this was a fun outfit. Super comfy, and I love the juxtaposition of styles.

Tank: Fruit Of The Loom mens small, from a four pack.
Necklace: made by me
Jeggings: Faded Glory
Flats: Faded Glory
